A New Look--Again

Well, now I am sporting another new look. Yesterday I was kneeling on the floor cleaning up some toys when Bailey came in to ask if I could help her put her bike helmut on. I told her to hold on a minute. While she was waiting she starting swinging her helmut around and WHACK! she hit me right in the eye. OUCH!!! So it swelled up and nice and big and now today I'm sporting a black eye. She felt really bad when it happened, although now that it is black, she hasn't mentioned it. And I thought helmuts were supposed to keep you safe!! :)

My new look...

So, as many of you know, I've had reddish (with purple tones) highlighted hair. Well, I was ready for a change so Saturday I went to blond highlights. I told her I wanted dramatic and bold, and that's what I got. I really like the new look, and Josh says that I've been spunkier (if possible) too. :) Anyways, many have wanted to see my new color, so here you go!

Loveable Erin

As many of you know, Erin is a very social, loving creature. :) She loves everyone and isn't afraid of anyone. She is willing to give hugs and kisses, and jump on your lap the second she meets you. She tells EVERYONE that she loves them and really wants that love right back. She has stolen the hearts of many people in the neighborhood. Well, today Erin and I went to Payless to get me some new shoes (which I'm excited about the great deal I got). The salesman there gave Erin a sticker and she went right up to him and gave him a hug and said: "Thank you! I LOVE YOU!" The man said that it was a great way to start his Monday. In some ways, she is going to be tricky trying to teach her about strangers, etc. But I do love that she isn't a shy girl and she isn't one to hold back towards people. She brings smiles wherever she goes!

The pictures above are times that she made me smile and laugh pretty hard. The first picture is one that Josh took while she was eating her lunch. The girl doesn't have a behind at all so it is challenging to keep her pants up. Maybe she'll grow up to be a plumber. :)

The other picture is how Erin frequently looks while we are eating. The girl cannot eat without getting food everywhere. I picture her 16, on a date, and still getting food all over her face! LOL!! Can't remember exactly what we were eating, but I do know that part of it is Fruit Punch Crystal Light.

What I Just LOVE!

Today after lunch, the girls were upstairs in Bailey's room. Usually I'll hear them playing dog or teacher or some other imaginative play. For almost 30 minutes I heard nothing. So I decided it was time to go check on them. What I saw made me smile. The girls were sitting together on Bailey's bean bag cuddled up with stuffed animals and listening to a book on CD. I love how well they play together (for the most part). There are days that they will disappear for an hour or so playing together. They are such great playmates for each other.
